Ingredients information:
Glucosamine HCL. Glucosamine is required for the synthesis of glycoproteins, glycolipids and glycosaminoglycans which are found in the tendons, ligaments, cartilage and synovial fluid. Glycosaminoglycans are the major constituent used in the formation and repair of joint cartilage.
Chondroitin Sulphate is the most abundant glycosaminoglycan in cartilage and is responsible for its resiliency. It serves as a substrate for the formation of the joint matrix structure.
Boswellia Serrata. The principal constituents of Boswellia Serrata are alpha and beta-boswellic acid which is thought to have anti-inflammatory properties.
Turmerics major active constituents are curcuminoids, including curcumin which seems to have anti-inflammatory activity/
Ascorbic acid is a powerful antioxidant and is a critical ingredient in the body’s production of collagen, a protein needed for healthy bone, cartilage and connective tissue.
Zinc Virtually all cells contain zinc with some of the highest concentrations found in bone and cartilage. A deficiency can impair the ability to make collagen. It also acts as an antioxidant through the prevention of free radical formation.
Manganese is a component of the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione. It is involved in tissue repair and maintenance, including collagen.
