These masks are made from 220g/m2 microfibre, a non-woven fabric made of 70% polyester and 30% polyamide. No chemicals or glues were used in the production, so it can be used without worries about allergies. The material has OEKO TEX 100 class 1 certificate. The microfibre is breathable, quick-drying, very absorbent, reusable, does not irritate the skin and is hypoallergenic. It has a similar touch & feel to a glasses cleaning cloth.
It is NOT currently certified to FFP or N95 but it DOES filter out particles larger that 0.1 micron, i.e. it stops things such as pollen, mites, mite droppings, smog, bacteria and any other particle larger than 0.1 micron. COVID 19 particle size is 0.125 microns.

Masks can be washed and ironed many times and can be sterilised in autoclaves at temperatures from 108 to 121 degrees Celsius.
